Managing Director (m/f/d)
What you can expect
- Overall responsibility for a company in the automotive industry (~130 employees, annual revenue of approx. €10 million)
- Define, implement and execute long-term strategies for profitability, operational excellence and sustainable competitiveness
- Full P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and risk management
- Lead the company through an important transformation phase, adapting organizational structures and capacities to future market and business requirements
- Represents the company with customers, partners and stakeholders nationally and internationally
- Builds and develops leadership teams and organizational structures
- Promotes and reinforces a strong culture of safety, compliance and sustainability
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on operational performance and efficiency
What we are looking for
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, business administration or comparable field
- Several years of professional experience, including a senior management or executive role with essential background in the automotive industry, ideally within a Tier 1 or 2 supplier
- Extensive operational leadership experience with overall responsibility for the performance of an automotive manufacturing site
- Proven track record in strategy, operational performance and organizational leadership, including experience in transformation and organizational change
- Strong technical understanding of automotive manufacturing and industrial processes
- Profound experience in leading negotiations with works councils and trade unions
- Fluent language skills in both German and English
