Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Quality Assurance (CQA) Engineer to monitor and enhance customer quality processes, focusing on root cause analysis (RCA), process improvements, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities to manage both internal and customer-related quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA within a relevant industry and a track record of successful issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and collect relevant data for product and installation improvements to understand and address any issues, deciding when to escalate as necessary
  • Initiate containment of stock at all locations to prevent further substandard production
  • Evaluate findings to formulate corrective action plans and coordinate implementation, including clean cut-offs to ensure proper containment and corrective action execution
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer-reported issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to identify and resolve quality concerns
  • Report root causes, implemented containment measures, and corrective actions to customers to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers and business partners

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or an equivalent field
  • Experience:
    • 6–9 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within a similar industry
    • Minimum of 3 years in handling customer quality issues
  • Knowledge:
    • Good familiarity with IATF system requirements and core quality tools
    • In-depth understanding of corrective and preventive action implementation
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to quality improvement
    • Advanced skills in People Management, Communication, and IATF systems
    • Ability to train and mentor teams and customers on quality standards and procedures
  • Attributes:

    • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
